Hi. Not aiming for this to be much of a post but here goes anyway.

Well, its 2:15 am in the morning. This is the way my past few days have been, long non-stop periods of computer gaming till late at night. Life has been pretty aimless.

Something ive noted about myself. I usually over-fixate myself on goals. Sure, i mean this makes for great discipline and determination. But i often let myself phase out in the process of achieving. During my 2 years of JC i threw myself towards 1 huge goal, the A levels. I hated the process, the slogging through, the daily grind. And so i fixed myself on my getting my As, wishing each day would pass sooner. Looking back, there are times i wished i had lived more in the moment, making more of the time I had while studying.

And its pretty much the same with the job I took up a few weeks ago. Telling myself to just think about the money, i spent my days working phased out from my job, wishing each day would pass and payday would come sooner.

So. I resolve to live in the moment. Seize each and everyday. Love the process, make the most of it.
